I became a qualified Nail Technician back in 2007. At the time, I was still working in the corporate world across roles in business development, sales, marketing, and operations. I was also responsible for staff training and assessments, creating training programs and materials along the way.
I dipped in and out of the beauty industry over the years—working from home, as an employee, and renting spaces. But it wasn’t until 2015, while on maternity leave with my first daughter, that I truly committed to my nail business. That’s when I brought my corporate skills into the mix, and it became the foundation for building a successful and sustainable business.

I was opened up to a world that I never knew existed. I found talented nail techs, quality products and endless support. Over my years I have grown my business from a mind set of just a few sets a day, into a growing empire that has endless opportunities.
I have met some amazing people along my journey. Nail techs that have become my friends and mentors. Many clients have shared their lives with me. They have shared their secrets, their dreams, their accomplishments and everything in between. At the end of the day, seeing a nail tech is cheaper than a therapist, so we hear it all! (and don't worry, my moto is "what happens at the nail table, stays at the nail table")

I spill my unique individuality into my business, to set it apart from the rest. My love of skulls, crystals and bright colours is different, but the foundations of Nails, with clients and students, is set in line with industry standards. I can also apply my background from what I have learnt in my corporate life to build my business but also teach my students how to create a business that reflects their heart and soul and is able to thrive and grow.

Hypnotic Nailz has grown and become so much more than just nails. I thrive on teaching and watching my students succeed. My witchy vibes created a boutique, successful brush range that has been casting spells for the last few years. Nail Competitions have enhanced my skills and allowed my creative dreams to come to life. You will find secret obsession in my videos of Nailz & True crime. With all of this pushing my skills and knowledge even further each step, my clients and students benefit along the way.
